Grand Opening 9am - 6pm. Ribbon cutting by Mayor Ellis at 11am. Meet nutritional food representatives from three pet food companies. Fixed Fur Life, Quinte Humane Society, Parrot Adopt, Rabbit Rescue, SHEBA Foundation, Hot Diggity Dogs, Pet Pawsitive and Super Paws all on site to provide information about their charity or organization. Free refreshments, door prizes, draws and give-aways.
The Grand Opening at Teri's Pets Plus Self Serve Dog Wash was a true success!!
Pet Pawsitive wants to thank Teri, Kim & Andie for including me in their Big Event, it was alot of fun! If you didn't get a chance to make it, don't worry, stop by anytime. Teri, Kim & Andie are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are excellent with all pets! They welcome you to bring your pets right into the store even if they don't need a bath! They have everything for just about any pet you may have including turtles, bunnies, kittens, puppies, hamsters, ferrets, birds and the list goes on and on! So whenever you need your pets supplies or if you have any questions regarding your pets don't hesitate to stop by Teri's Pets Plus!
The Self Serve Dog Wash centre is always clean and very user friendly. The wash stations are equipped with aprons, towels, shampoo & conditioners. Each tub has a set of stairs for easy accessibility along with the collar leashes to help keep the bathers in the tub! The dryer stations are equipped with high velocity dryers, towels & nail clippers, you get all this for one low price! There is no time limit so you are not feeling rushed and there is no appointment necessary, first come, first serve!
Pet Pawsitive had a prize draw to win either a dog walking visit or a pet sitting visit.

THE FUR BALL

Fixed Fur Life wants to thank everyone who participated in the FUR BALL 2009, they raised $6,000. This money will be used to continue helping dogs & cats of the Quinte Region. Stats to date: 7,011 cats and dogs have been spayed, neutered and vaccinated. The majority of these cats and dogs have had 1-2 litters per year for the last 3 years and are now no longer producing.
1,920 pet owners who were about to surrender their pets to local shelters because of behavioural issues relating to their pets not being spayed-neutered changed their minds and kept their pets as issues resolved once the pet was fixed.
2,680 cats and dogs apart from the above numbers were placed into loving new homes. These pets were from individuals who could no longer care for their pets. These pets were placed directly into the new home thus alleviating the stressful shelter environment.

Here are a couple of pics that I think are the best that Kayla (my 5 1/2 year shepard) has ever taken. I am moving to Nunavut so would not require the services but if you do choose my pets picture to win could you still put up her picture and either take a well deseved break for you or either donate it to a family that needs the service, or the 2nd place one.
I think what you are doing is great and is a service that is greatly needed especially now a days that everyone is working extra long hours to make ends meet. This is the best way that I know how to support a company that I truly believe deserves it.

Celebrating Our 1st Anniversary!
It's hard to believe 1 year has passed so quickly. Thanks to your overwhelming support Pet Pawsitive has had a very successful 1st year in business. Pet Pawsitive is proud to announce that due to the demand in services and growing clientele, Tristan Sorensen has joined the Pet Pawsitive team. Tristan is a pet parent herself; her pet family currently consists of cats, dogs, goats, donkeys, horses, hens and a fish. Tristan brings a wide variety of pet experience with her and Pet Pawsitive is proud to have her join our team.
Also new to Pet Pawsitive is Pet Pawsitive Photography, which will be revealed at the 1st Year Anniversary Celebration held on December 4th at Teri's Pets Plus located at 330 North Front St, Belleville (right beside Taco Bell). Teri opened Teri`s Pets Plus Dog Wash around the same time that Pet Pawsitive Mobile Pet Care Specialist opened. Our business relationship has grown and we are proud to provide referrals for each others business. We are happy to be celebrating our Anniversary together. The celebration will be held from noon-4pm and there will be lots of draws, door prizes, cakes, treats (for people and pets), bring your pets as there will $5.00 nail trimming all day and all the proceeds will be donated to Fixed Fur Life.
